Wallem Shipbroking is the oldest part of the Wallem Group and has been actively involved in Sale and Purchase, Chartering and Vessel Operations since the business was founded in Shanghai in 1903 by Haakon Wallem.
Today we are active in:

- Commercial Management and Operations
In any project we undertake, we combine one or more of the following services:
- Newbuilding contracting, resale or purchase of vessel
- Finance arrangement of equity, mezzanine and loans
- Commercial management, long term employment or spot trading
- Technical management, crewing, insurance, and
- Newbuilding supervision and pre purchase surveys.
Dry cargo chartering serves our clients on a worldwide basis. Our principals' activities range from steel parcel shipments through Handysizes to Cape size. We represent owners, operators and charterers.
For clients who require assistance with employing their tonnage, we follow the period and spot tanker markets.
Client service does not stop after fixing – we provide full post fixture and operational support to keep track of the vessels’ positions, nominations, and payments. Our operational team focuses on service, providing timely and accurate follow up of all fixtures.
