Established in 1971, Wallem is one of the world's leading ship managers. We manage more than 350 ships and have over 6000 seafarers sailing on our managed vessels.
We operate a broad spectrum of vessel types - oil, chemical, and gas tankers, bulk carriers, containerships, general cargo ships, reefers, FSOs, car carriers and passenger ships.

Crew management Our manpower planning expertise adds value to your ships operations by ensuring that we have the right number, of the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
Seafarers are recruited and selected with great skill and care. They are trained in our own centres, we give seafarers clear objectives and reinforce this with feedback through our appraisal reporting procedures.
Our commitment to the source of quality manning in India was reinforced in 2005 with more than US$1million invested in upgrading our training centre in Mumbai.
We also have our own manning agency in Manila, and can offer Russian and Ukrainian seafarers as well as crews from other Baltic states. During October 2008 we also established a manning agency in Sri Lanka.
Our joint venture with Cosco in Qingdao ensures that we have control over the quality and training of Chinese seafarers, including improving their English language skills.
Technical management We pride ourselves in the protection and enhancement of our Owners' assets by keeping their vessels well maintained and operating safely and efficiently.
We have developed our own world-class maritime software solutions which are user-friendly but highly robust and sophisticated tools to allow ship staff to work smarter, reducing administration time and cost. This gives them more time to effectively and safely manage your vessels.
Procurement Wallem provides procurement services to both clients with ships under our management as well as those managing their own vessels.
The procurement process is transparent, with all details of transactions available online. Wallem officers onboard use the purchasing system to verify the quality of the items procured, keeping suppliers accountable for their products.
