From earlier this year, the joint venture in Jakarta, Indonesia between P.T. Layar Sentosa Shipping Corporation of  Indonesia and Wallem & Company, Limited of Hong Kong, through the joint venture company "P.T. Wallem Sentosa Shipping Services" incorporated in Indonesia and known as 'Wallem Sentosa', has been terminated in accordance with the relevant agreements.

The Wallem Group, including but not limited to Wallem & Company, Limited, are therefore no longer involved in any business conducted by Wallem Sentosa and all necessary action will be taken in due course to cause the company name of Wallem Sentosa to be changed to a name that does not incorporate the word "Wallem".

This termination also affects the agreement made between P.T. Layar Sentosa Shipping Corporation, Intercontinental Maritime (Pte.) Ltd., Wallem & Company, Limited and Wallem Shipping (Singapore) Pte. Ltd, which has been managed by Wallem Ship Agencies all along, simply continues in the full ownership of Wallem & Company, Limited.
